COVID-19 – UPDATE Gathering for worship at St Salvador’s

As the regulations due to Covid-19 have eased we have been able to meet for worship in the church building. We meet each Sunday at 10.30am for a Eucharist service with hymns and instrumental music, followed by refreshments in the church or garden, depending on the weather. Each Wednesday we meet for a said Eucharist at 11.30am. The weekly Food Bank follows this service. Social distancing is kept in the building and masks are worn except for those who are exempt. Do come along and join us. Please contact us for more details

We meet every week for worship on Sundays and Wednesdays. You’re welcome to come along to whichever service is best for you

Sunday Worship with Eucharist
10.30am every Sunday

We meet to share life with each other, to hear God’s Word and break bread each Sunday at 10.30am. Members of our community take part as they are able in reading the lessons, leading the intercessions, distributing communion and leading the music. We pray in contemporary language using the 1982 Scottish Liturgy and sing from the Celebration Hymnal. After the service most people stay behind for coffee and a blether. If you’d like to know more about the liturgy you’ll find a copy online at the Scottish Episcopal Church website here

Holy Communion is offered to all who are baptised. If you’d like to know more about baptism visit our page here.

Some weeks, we have special activities for children. You can read more about that here

Short Communion service (approx 20 minutes).
11.30am every Wednesday

This service uses the same liturgy as the Sunday service, but without music or a sermon.
